The Ash Exchange

Individually it's particles are light, but together they become heavy burdens filling our insides with darkness. As we receive His love, we're filled with his light exposing us to the image of God that was implanted in us. At that moment, our ashes are exchanged for the beauty God created within.

Worship is My Weapon

On November 8, 2014, I went to a prophetic conference and received a word that read, "Stand! And when you have done all you can do stay standing! Don't retreat! Press forward in praise and worship! Worship is your weapon! Faith is your prophetic sword! Speak and let your voice be heard!"

Two months prior to receiving this word, my father had passed away and I was in a very low place. This conference was a place for me to be restored and renewed. Upon receiving this prophetic word, I was challenged to no longer sit on my gift of singing and writing. The love of music that had been ingrained in me began to increase and at times of sorrow, stress, or worry I began to praise and worship God.

21 After consulting the people, Jehoshaphat appointed men to sing to the Lord and to praise him for the splendor of his[a] holiness as they went out at the head of the army, saying:

“Give thanks to the Lord,
    for his love endures forever.”

22 As they began to sing and praise, the Lord set ambushes against the men of Ammon and Moab and Mount Seir who were invading Judah, and they were defeated.

Just as God moved on Jehoshaphat's behalf when he  ordered his men to praise and worship, God does the same for us. I pray this page of recommended worship songs helps you to praise God rather than seeping into a state of hopelessness. Trust Him and let worship be your weapon!
