Big or Small, I'm Grateful!
In August, I was blessed with the opportunity to be interviewed by KSBJ. They were hosting a campaign called, Say the Pledge, where teachers, students, and administrators were interviewed and asked to say the pledge. Being chosen to participate was only an act of God. To some it may not be worth mentioning, but for me, it's a little reminder from God showing me how much he loves me and how more he plans to do in and through me.
When people think of you for things, take the time to first praise God because if it wasn't for him, your name would not have been considered. Then, thank God for the people who took heed to his voice and were obedient.
The interview was played on Tuesday, August 30, which happened to also be the 2nd year anniversary of my dad's death... He would have been proud! Unfortunately, I completely forgot the interview was being played due to a Zyrtec hangover I received trying to get rid of hay fever the night before. On a brighter note, I walked into work being congratulated by coworkers and students who had the privilege of hearing it on the radio. I'm honored and I know this is just the beginning of the many things God is going to do! I'm challenged to remember that no matter how big or small something is... I should always be grateful!
For those who weren't able to listen, check it out!!
