I’ve spent my whole life making new friends, but it wasn’t until recently that I really saw who my true friends were. One day I reflected on my relationships and how those that are closest to me are the ones who I almost lost. We would fight and argue, but when something serious occurred in out lives we came together. It pains me to see my friends be in a place of disappointment, sadness, or hopelessness, so when they do get to that point I have a tendency to forget everything negative that happened previously. I’ve learned that friendship isn’t something that ends over petty disputes. It is something that last a lifetime. I don’t know the significance of all my friends, but I do know that God has blessed me with their presence.
A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for adversity.- Proverbs 17:17
