When plans do not unfold in the way or time frame we perceived, we have a tendency to question God and ourselves. We begin to ask ourselves was that vision really from God... Am I hearing him correctly? Although we received the vision, the plan for it to manifest is not always revealed. We get busy trying to make the little that he showed us come to fruition by our own might and that's when God will position us to be still. Psalm 37:7 instructs us to "Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him; fret not yourself over the one who prospers in his way, over the man who carries out evil devices!”
It's so easy to get in a place of wanting to make things happen because we either see it happening for someone else or we've simply grown impatient. Because it has not happened does not mean the vision you received is a lie, it simply means there's a route that God needs us to go through in order for that vision to manifest. When things aren't going a certain way refrain from going into a state of panic and confusion. Remember “The steps of a [good] man are directed and established by the Lord when He delights in his way [and He busies Himself with his every step]. Though he falls, he shall not be utterly cast down, for the Lord grasps his hand in support and upholds him.”
(Psalm 37:23-24 AMP)
So, be still and press into God, so that you receive clear instructions on the steps He desires for you to take in order to fulfill the vision He gave you. May the vision be our motivation to press forward and our trust in God be the strength that carries us to the finish line.
